One of the leading online short-term Kazakhstan lenders ccloan.kz is raising working capital to scale up loan issuance and satisfy increasing demand for short-term loans in the Kazakh market. ccloan.kz provides short-term loans to citizens of Kazakhstan to cover unforeseen expenses in a timely manner.
ccloan.kz company was established on October 20, 2015 and its first loan issued on March 16, 2016. Since then more than 178,000 loans have been requested and 59,000 loans issued. In 2019 alone the loan originator had more than 126,000 registered clients, 22,000 clients that have taken at least one loan and more than 13,000 repeat borrowers. End of June 2020 gross loan portfolio is around 1.4m EUR.
ccloan.kz only issues loans to citizens of Kazakhstan between the age of 18 to 57-years-old. In order to receive a loan, borrowers must have an active mobile number, active bank account/ card and good credit history. Typical loan term is up to 30 days, with the loan amount in range of EUR 23 to EUR 305.
Current investment opportunity offers investors to make a loan with 12% annual interest rate with a monthly repayment of the interest amount and principal at the end of the loan term. The minumum target to be raised in this fundraising phase is EUR 100,000 and maximum target is EUR 300,000. Due to lending business specifics, any funds raised can be used to issue loans and even lower funded project amount would not derail a proper use of raised funds.
The activities of ccloan.kz are in line with the state policy on digital transformations set forth in the Digital Kazakhstan State Program and approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 827 dated December 12, 2017. In October 2016, ccloan.kz joined the Kazakhstan FinTech Association in order to coordinate and consolidate the activities of companies operating in the online lending market.
At the time of issuing the first loan in Kazakhstan, there was no legal regulation in the field of online market and the company’s lending activities took place in accordance with the Civil Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In May 2019, the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan re-introduced a bill to the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the inclusion of all online companies in the microfinance organization industry. Reacting to the new legislation, on December 26, 2019 Microfinance Organization ccloan.kz succesfully passed the registration in the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan with assignment of registration number KZ27UPG00001633.
Money raised through GainWest will be used to increase working capital and consequentely disburse more loans. Given an average loan is around 200 EUR (range between EUR 23 to EUR 305), 300,000 EUR capital would enable ccloan.kz to disburse at least 1,500 loans.
The loan is secured with a holding company Melivesa Georgia LLC guarantee and covered by GainWest Investment guarantee fund.

The loan will be issued directly to Kazakhstan lending company ccloan.kz.
